The most mysterious member of the WINDSOR family, ALEXANDRIA offers a compelling play of bold design and space for reflection.
Evoking loss and renewal, ALEXANDRIA’s inset piece is a door sourced from Egypt in the 1920s, where an independent nation was growing amid the ruins of the Ottoman Empire and the end of a colonial era.
ALEXANDRIA’s wooden frame, traced by aged sea-green paint, features a powerful winged figure rising over a sharp, art-deco backdrop. The space within the frame is connected by swirls and lines of wrought iron, whose once-grey palette has been turned warm by rust.
The table’s artfully spare, yet sturdy concrete frame is brought to life by wet-effect sealing. The process, which leaves the concrete with a texture inviting to the touch, sets off the aged paint and patina and evokes earth after the rain, ready for regrowth.
ALEXANDRIA is the perfect piece for anyone seeking to celebrate the lost romance of the past, and great new beginnings to follow.
